For women:

Start at 6i (16cm) for small wrists, 7i (18cm) for medium wrists and 8i (20cm) for large wrists.

Typically the average women is a 7i wrist.

Step 1:

Wrap a cable / string around your wrist and loosely pinch both ends together.

Step 2:

Keep hold of the connecting point and place your cable / string next to a ruler / tape measure to find the correct length for you.
